📖 Instructions — How to Use NadaMudra 4.1
1 Welcome & Overview
NadaMudra 4.1 is a Sacred Knowledge Platform covering Indian classical music, dance, metaphysics, mantras, mudras, karanas, nakshatras, and consciousness science. Every result is presented through 6 analytical paragraphs across 5 interpretive lenses — Philosophical, Yogic/Spiritual, Neurological, Scientific, Astrophysical — plus a Historical Heritage context paragraph.

The platform works entirely without paid APIs using a built-in curated knowledge base. Source links are provided on every result so you can visit primary sites for deeper study. Your backend at https://nadamudrabackend.culturalmusings.com is operational and provides live web-fetch results.
2 How to Search — Any Tab
  • Home tab: Use the main search bar or click any quick-topic chip (Raga Bhairavi, Pataka Mudra, 108 Karanas, OM Beejakshara, etc.)
  • Search tab: Type any query — the system auto-detects the topic (raga, mudra, mantra, karana, nakshatra, dance, philosophy)
  • Module tabs: Each tab (Hasta Mudras, Ragas, Karanas, etc.) has its own search bar pre-tuned for that domain
  • Press Enter or click the SEARCH button — results appear within 1 second
  • Every result includes source links — click them to visit the original reference sites for full texts
3 Swara Strip — Sa · Ra · Ga · Ma · Pa · Da · Dha · Ni · SA
The Swara Strip is always visible at the top of every page, showing all 17 swara variants of the octave:
  • Sa — षड्ज · the fixed tonic (shadja)
  • Ra · Ri · Ri₃ — three Rishabha variants (komal Ra, shuddha Ri, shatshruti Ri₃)
  • Gi · Ga · Ga₃ — three Gandhara variants (shuddha Gi, sadharana Ga, antara Ga₃)
  • Ma · Mi — Shuddha Madhyama (Ma) and Prati Madhyama (Mi)
  • Pa — पञ्चम · the fixed fifth (panchama)
  • Da · Dha · Dha₃ — three Dhaivata variants (komal Da, shuddha Dha, shatshruti Dha₃)
  • Ni · Nee · Ni₃ — three Nishada variants (shuddha Ni, kaisiki Nee, kakali Ni₃)
  • SA — upper octave tonic
Click any swara pill to highlight/select it. Use the Compose tab to build ragas from checkbox selections.
4 Raga Creator — Compose Tab
  • Go to the Compose tab (🎼 in the tab bar)
  • Check the swaras you want — Sa and Pa are always fixed; select any combination of the remaining 14 variants
  • Optionally type a name for your raga in the name field
  • Click Generate Raga — you see Arohana, Avarohana, scale type (pentatonic/hexatonic/heptatonic), and any matching known ragas
  • Click Find Similar Ragas to search the knowledge base for ragas matching your note selection
  • Click Clear to reset all selections
5 Backend — nadamudrabackend.culturalmusings.com
Your backend server at https://nadamudrabackend.culturalmusings.com is live and working. It fetches content from all 30+ reference websites when users search, and returns structured results in the same 6-paragraph format.

The app currently uses the Local Knowledge Base (built-in, instant, no network needed). To connect it to your live backend for real-time web-fetched results, add this line to the backend's response handler pointing to your domain. Both modes display identical 6-paragraph output — the backend adds live content from reference sites on top of the curated base.

If the backend is unreachable, the app automatically falls back to the Local Knowledge Base — users always receive a complete result.
